Abu Dhabi : The UAE has held talks with Northern Ireland and Armenia on strengthening trade and investment relations.
The UAE’s Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi met Arlene Isabel Foster, minister of enterprise, trade and investment of Northern Ireland.
The two officials also discussed developing joint investment opportunities in many sectors including renewable energy and in technical and environmentally friendly industries.
In Dubai, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Murr, speaker of the Federal National Council, met Armenian Ambassador to the UAE, Gegham Gharibjanyan, and reviewed ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in parliamentary relations.
