Abu Dhabi : The Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2013, showcasing the latest products and services in the aviation industry, has begun at the Al Bateen Executive Airport.
Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, national security advisor and vice chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, opened the expo Tuesday.
The event will run till March 7. It is being organised and hosted by the Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC).
More than 160 aerospace-related organisations, from across the UAE and from 70 countries including Canada, the US, Germany, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Jordan are taking part.
More than 100 aircraft from leading manufacturers Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Boeing, Gulfstream, Cessna, Piper Aircraft, Cirrus Aircraft and Airbus are on display.
