A relaxed President Pranab Mukherjee interacted with women journalists of all ages at the Ashoka Hall, originally the ballroom of the British era viceroys and now used for ceremonial functions.

The women were seen jostling for both photographs and autographs even as the president asked them to have some tea.

A few reporters dug into the high tea laid out in the Banquet Hall, while others were admiring the ceiling of the Ashoka Hall, which has an equestrian potrait of Fateh Ali Shah, the second of the seven Qajar rulers of Persia, hunting with his 21 sons.
