New Delhi: The ownership of future inductions of attack helicopters will vest with the army, Defence Minister A.K. Antony said Wednesday and denied any differences between the army and the air force on the issue.
“There is no dispute between the army and the air force for control of fighter helicopters,” Antony told the Rajya Sabha in a written reply.
“Keeping in view operational requirements, the government has decided that ownership of future inductions of attack helicopters will vest with the army,” he said.
