New Delhi: Delhi’s residents experienced a clear and pleasant day Saturday with both the maximum and minimum temperatures were a notch below average for this time of the season. The Met office has forecast a clear, sunny Sunday.
“The maximum and minimum temperatures were 28.9 degrees Celsius and 14.3 degrees Celsius, respectively – both a notch below average for this time of the season,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
Humidity levels fluctuated between a high of 93 percent and a low of 41 percent.
“There will be mist early morning tomorrow (Sunday) … the afternoon will be warm and sunny,” official said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures Sunday are likely to hover around 30 and 15 degrees Celsius respectively, added the official.
Friday’s maximum temperature settled a notch above the season’s average at 30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled at 14.4 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.
