New Delhi : The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has started a 24×7 call centre to address the grievances of citizens, it was announced Sunday.
Capable of handling 30 calls at a time, the call centre’s services will be available both in Hindi and English, NDMC chairman Jalaj Shrivastava said in a statement.
The service will handle customer queries and complaints as well as feedback in the NDMC area. The NDMC is the smallest of the three civic agencies in the capital and it oversses the heart of the city.
Presently, citizens can complain about services online. This system generates a complaint ID, and the complaints automatically get forwarded to concerned officials for quick action.
