Bee-stung Jammu woman rescued by army

    Jammu : A woman attacked by honey bees in a Jammu and Kashmir village was rescued by army and revived by its doctors from an unconscious state, a defence statement said Friday.

    Rayzia Begam, a resident of Bagga village in Reasi district, was rescued when she was attacked by a swarm of bees. She was brought to a medical facility of the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Bagga Thursday, the statement said.

    Doctors at the centre attended to the woman, who was given medication for three hours. She was discharged after she regained consciousness, the statement said.
