Beijing: Five people, including four middle school students, were killed in a minibus accident in China’s Shandong province Friday, authorities said.
The accident occurred after tree trunks fell from a truck and smashed the minibus, carrying eight students, reported Xinhua citing witnesses.
According to the government of Wucheng County, three students were also injured in the accident which occurred around 6 p.m.
The driver and three students were immediately killed, while one pupil died in hospital, the government said.
