Justice has prevailed in gang rape case: Dikshit

    New Delhi : Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Friday said justice prevailed as the court sentenced to death the four convicts in the Dec 16, 2012, gang rape case.

    “I welcome the judgment pronounced by the fast track court today (Friday) on the Dec 16 gang rape case and justice has prevailed,” Dikshit said in a statement.

    She added the fast track court has delivered the justice expeditiously.

    “Hope the judgment would prove to be a deterrent,” she added.
