Terror attacks won’t derail dialogue: PM

    Washington : “Such attacks will not deter us or succeed in derailing our efforts to find a resolution to problems through dialogue,” said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh following a terror attack in Jammu that left 12 dead.

    Manmohan Singh took to Twitter following the terror attack Thursday on a police station and an army camp in Jammu region.

    He tweeted: “We are firmly resolved to combat and defeat the terrorist menace that continues to receive encouragement from across the border.”

    “Such attacks will not deter us or succeed in derailing our efforts to find a resolution to all problems through a process of dialogue,” said another tweet.

    Manmohan Singh said that no words were “strong enough to condemn the heinous terrorist attack” on Hiranagar police station and the army camp at Samba in Jammu and Kashmir.

    He described the strike as “one more in a series of provocations and barbaric actions by the enemies of peace”.

    Manmohan Singh is likely to meet Pakistani Premier Nawaz Sharif on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly Sep 29.
