Parwez told TCN that on Sunday as he was coming with his younger brother, he was stopped by a group of hooligans, who threatened him with hockey sticks and country made pistol; but luckily they escaped.

He said that throughout Sunday he was getting threat calls, purportedly from the local Intelligence unit.

Perwez has now filed an FIR and has urged some security from the police. Earlier also he got threats and had written to the MHA and UP CM urging security.
