New Delhi: The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) leaders on Wednesday handed over a cheque of Rs 25 lakh to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for Rehabilitation and Relief works in the wake of flood havoc in the country.
E Ahamed, MP and IUML national president and E T Mohammed Basheer, MP and national secretary IUML, presented the cheque to Modi at the PMO at the Parliament House.

The Prime Minister, while receiving the cheque, expressed his deep sense of appreciation for this gesture by the IUML and observed any such contribution for the flood relief may be a welcome gesture, a statement from the IUML said here.
Ahamed said his party will do whatever possible to help and encourage Prime Minister’s activities for relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims.
