“The existence of such organizations will hamper the peace and harmony prevailing in the country”, he said adding, “The central government itself is promoting Hindutva agenda in the country and thereby is creating a grave concern for maintaining secularism in the country”.

Syed Akramuddin, a social activist said, “The act of forceful conversion by Hindu radicals in Agra is in a way blot on the Indian democracy. There is a need for the Muslims to get together and protect each other from the radical elements let loose by the government after coming to the power”.

The protesters finally handed over a memorandum of demands to city collector and asked him to pass over it to the President of the country.

BJP deceived people of the country by posing many false promises during election campaigning for Lok Sabha polls and after coming to the power have started to fulfill its Hindutva agenda. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given free hand to the radical Hindu organizations that are disturbing the secular fabric in the country. The latest incidence of forced conversion of Muslims in Agra is a highly condemnable act and poses future threats to the minorities in the country.
