The report however, gave no further details.

The Israeli air force has struck several Syrian military sites over the course of the nearly four-year-old conflict without a direct response from Damascus.

Israeli forces hit two Syrian positions in Damascus Dec 7, leaving property losses only, according to Syria’s state-run media.

Israeli missiles also struck a research centre near Damascus in May 2013 and another site in January, the same year.
