Symposium on black money held at Nawada, Bihar

Nawada (Bihar): Awareness building, organising, protesting, legalizing and executing – these are the five steps that the activists have to cover carefully, cautiously and qualitatively to know the mechanism by which black money is generated and curb it effectively, said advocate Mohammad Kashif Yunus.

“This cannot be done in 100 days as falsely promised by a certain political party but it could be removed by a long and rigorous struggle,” Yunus, chief convenor of the Samaaj Bachaao Aandolan, said while speaking at a symposium (paricharcha) here on the topic of ‘Politics of Black Money’.

Journalists, social activists and political cadres expressed their concerns on the increasing influence of black money in Indian politics at the Symposium, a release said here.

Co-convenor Dr Prakash Prasad promised the audience that the Aandolan will continue struggle for long term goal. State head of Bachpan Bachaao Aandolan Mukhtarul Haque expressed his thought.

Senior journalist Ratnakar, Alok Vardhan, Harihar Nath , M Q Jauhar, Ajit Kumar, D K Yadav, Ranjeet Yadav, Dr UP Ghantal also spoke on the occasion. Cadres of Samaaj Bachaao Aandolan from Patna, Nalanda, Begusarai, Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamtara, Giridih, Kodarma attended the Symposium.

All the participants took oath that they will do their best to remove the influence of black money from Indian politics, the release added.
