New Delhi: Sarojini Naidu Centre for Women’s Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia is going to organize various events like “Ajanmi Tanya’ – Nukkar Natak, Peace Walk, Musical Group Performances, Movie Screening & Panel Discussion on the campus of Jamia. The purpose of organizing such events on the campus is to spread the message of One Billion Rising for Justice to end violence against women.
“One Billion Rising” is a global campaign to end violence against women, to rise for justice, and to promote gender equality.
The programme is scheduled to be held on February 11, 2014 at 11 AM onwards near Ghalib Statue, Jamia Main Campus and the Auditorium of FTK-Centre for Information Technology.
