Jeddah : The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Sunday condemned Israel’s decision to build 1,400 settlement homes in the West Bank, including in Jerusalem.
“Israel’s settlement expansion is illegal and is a violation of the international laws,” the organisation said in a statement.
It said the settlement expansion was “jeopardising the peace process and the two-state solution”.
OIC Secretary General Eyad Bin Ameen Madani called on the international community to take its responsibilities to end Israel’s settlement policies in Palestine.
Madani also called on NGOs to take a stand against Israeli policies.
