Saudi Arabia distributes Ramadan meals among Syrian refugees

Amman : Since the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, the Saudi National Campaign to Support the Syrian Brethren has distributed Ramadan breakfast meals among Syrian refugees in neighboring countries and inside Syria.

Badr Bin Abdulrahman Al-Samhan, regional director of the National Campaign, said that 150,000 meals will be provided to Syrians in Jordan and 300,000 in Turkey. In another statement made to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Director of the Campaign in Lebanon Walid Al-Jalal said that the campaign has been distributing 146 checks to 146 Syrian families displaced in Akkar with a total value of $128,000. The campaign began on Monday the project of ‘Iftar Fasting People’ and the gift of dates donated by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah to the displaced Syrians in Lebanon during the holy month of Ramadan.
