Jordan slams Israel for banning entry into al-Aqsa Mosque

Amman: Jordan Saturday slammed Israel for preventing thousands of Palestinian worshippers from entering al-Aqsa Mosque Friday, media reports said.

Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani condemned Israel, saying it’s “a stark violation and provocation of the feelings of the Muslims, especially during the holy month of Ramadan,” Xinhua reported citing a state-run Petra news agency report.
