College-going Muslim girls at Marina beach in Chennai. They visit the beach quite often to chill out. One is training to be a pilot, one an architect and the third is considering journalism. They believe that the hijab is a sense of liberation for them because they feel safe and therefore free. It is also a sense of belonging to one’s culture which often gets mistaken with religion.
