Guwahati: The Minority Morcha of Assam BJP on Friday distributed clothes among the poor people after Friday prayers in Guwahati. The BJP leadership also urged for special prayers to be conducted across the state for peace and harmony.

“We want the all the people, especially the poor to enjoy the Eid happily. So we distributed clothes among the poor. We have also asked for special prayers to be conducted for the peace and harmony,” said Minority Morcha president Mominul Aawal.
Sari, kurta etc were distributed among the poor people in front of Bura Masjid in Guwahati. The Minority Morcha will also organize an Iftar on July 28 at the mosque premises.
