Chennai : Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated in Tamil Nadu Tuesday with the usual fervour, with tens of thousands offering prayers in mosques across the state.
The day marked the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Muslims exchanged greetings with relatives and friends after the morning prayers.
Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah, Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa and DMK chief M. Karunanidhi greeted Muslims on the occasion.
