India Fraternity Forum helps stranded Indian worker reach home

Doha: Qatar India Fraternity Forum helped an Indian worker come back to home, who was cheated by a known person on the pretext of offering him a job in Gulf.

Mr. Imran Hassan (26), son of Mohammad Hassan resident of Bengare Mangalore was in search of job due to family responsibilities on his shoulder. He met Mr. Abdul Majeed, resident of Uppala Kasaragod, who promised him a good job in Qatar and brought him along 2nd May 2013 and also gave him shelter at his room. Abdul Majeed has since been missing with Imran’s Passport.

Imran was worried and came in contact with the Qatar India Fraternity Forum through his friend Mr. Saabith. Organization PRO Mr. Abdul Latheef Madikeri helped him file a complaint to the concerned Qatar Government Departments and Indian Embassy office by providing all proper statements and documents.

Investigating Police Officers later realized that someone else is already residing in Qatar on Imran Hassan’s Passport. The year long struggle of Qatar India Fraternity Forum finally yielded result when Imran could finally come back.

Imran was thankful to the Qatar India Fraternity Forum but PRO Madikeri cautioned that people who come to Arab countries for work should be careful from fraudsters.
