They are a bridge over Daman Ganga river connecting Kachigam on Nani Daman and Zari on Moti Daman, another connecting Kachigam on Nani Daman and Magarwada on Moti Daman, and a third one from Moti Daman Light House to Nani Daman Jetty,” a home ministry communique said here.
Rajnath Singh stressed that tourism should be promoted in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the Lakshadweep.
“Tourism should be promoted in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep, safeguarding the ecological balance and keeping in view the security aspects,” he said.
Rajnath Singh said Puducherry’s worsening financial condition was a cause for concern.
“Precarious financial position of Puducherry should be closely and effectively monitored by the ministry,” he said.
On listing of heritage buildings by the Heritage Conservation Committee in Chandigarh, Rajnath Singh warned that private properties should not get adversely affected by this exercise.
“Even if some private properties have to be declared as heritage structures, then heritage rules should provide for adequate compensatory provisions,” the minister said.
