Kabul : At least nine militants were killed in a military operation in Afghanistan’s Laghman province, officials said Sunday.
Five other militants were also injured when the Afghan army launched an operation in Dar-e-Sangara area of Laghman province, the provincial government said, reported Xinhua.
At least four militants were also detained, it said, adding a Taliban leader Abdul Jabbar was among the dead.
On Saturday, seven militants, including their leader Hajji Rahis, were killed when the security forces conducted a raid in Helmand province.
