Prague: About 70 per cent of the Czech people support their country’s NATO membership, results of a poll released by the Prague Centre for Transatlantic Relations Tuesday have shown, Xinhua reported.
Conducted in mid-February, the poll showed that 77 per cent of Czech people support NATO’s active participation in fighting international terrorism while 58 per
cent are in favour of Czech soldiers’ deployment in foreign missions.
The Czech Republic became a member of NATO in 1999.
