Mostly circulated couplets of his poetry mentioned below:
Khuda ne Ye Sifat Duniya ki Har Aurat Ko Bakhshi hai,
Ki Wo Paagal bhi ho jaaye tou Bete Yaad Rehte hain !
Is Taraah Mere Gunaaho’n ko Wo Dho Deti Hai,
Maa Bahut Gussey me’n Hoti Hai tou Ro Deti hai !
Tere Daaman me’n Sitaare hain tou Hongey Aye Falaq,
Mujhko Apni Maa ki Maili Audhni Achchi Lagi !
Mujh se do qatre bhi Aansu ke Chupaaye Na Gaye,
Maa tou Aankho’n me Samandar ko Chupa Leti Hai
Jab bhi Kashti Meri Sailab me aa Jaati Hai,
Maa Dua Karte huwe Khwaab me’n aa Jaati Hai!
Kal Apne Aap ko dekha tha Maa ki Aankho’n me’n
Ye Aaeena Hume’n Boodha Nahi Bataata hai !
Maine Kal Shab Chaahato’n ki Sab kitaabe’n Phaad di
Sirf Ek Kaagaz pe Likhkha Shabd Maa Rehne Diya !
Ye Aisa Qarz hai Jo Main Adaa Kar hi Nahi Sakta,
Main Jab tak Ghar na Lotu’n Meri Maa Sajde me’n Rehti Hai!
Qubooliyat ki Ghadee hai Agar Mere Maula,
Tou Maa ke Chehre se Ye Saari Jhurriya’n Udd Jaaye!
Kisi ko Ghar Mila Hissey me’n Ya Koi Dukaa’n Aayi,
Main Ghar me’n Sab se Chotaa tha Mere Hissey me’n Maa Aayi !
