Kabul : At least one person was killed and eight were injured Sunday when a bomb went off at the police headquarters in Afghanistan’s capital city of Kabul.
“The Kabul Police chief, General Mohammad Zahir Zahir, is safe but the blast has killed his office manager Colonel Mohammad Yasin,” an official told Xinhua.
The blast took place on the third floor of the building, the official said.
The Taliban insurgent group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
