New Delhi : A 40-year-old Delhi Police head constable was crushed to death by a speeding truck here, officials said Sunday.
The truck hit Ashok Kumar’s motorcycle, injuring him critically. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
The accident occurred in south Delhi’s Kalkaji area Saturday night when head constable Ashok Kumar was returning home from work. He was posted at Badarpur police station.
Police said the truck driver has been detained.
