Hyderabad : BioAsia 2015, the 12th edition of the annual international life sciences conference, will be held here Feb 2-4.
More than 700 companies from over 50 countries will participate in the conference, which will unveil the “new opportunities in the transition” in the field of life sciences and healthcare industry.
The event will have 40 sessions, the topics of which include “Drug Discovery and India’s innovation pipeline”, “clinical research”, “supply chain and logistics”, “rapid diagnostics” and “public health & access”.
“BioAsia 2015 will be organized with the theme of new era of life sciences to symbolize the transitioning phase of opportunities in India and also contribute to the country’s economic revival agenda. The event is designed to offer the right opportunities to catch the right notes and develop strategies to succeed in emerging markets like India,” Shakthi Nagappan, CEO, BioAsia, said in a statement.
BioAsia 2015 is organised by the Federation of Asian Biotech Association (FABA) and the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) with the support of state and the central governments.
