Patna: The NIA special court here Thursday issued notice to a Bihar jail official for his failure to present in court two key accused of last year’s Patna serial blasts as charge sheets against them were to be filed, police said.
The court issued notice to the superintendent of Beur Central Jail here for failing to bring Haider Ali and Mujibullah before the court, police said.
Both Haider and Mujibullah were arrested from Jharkhand in May this year in a joint operation of Intelligence Bureau (IB) and National Investigation Agency (NIA).
According to the NIA, Ali and his associates were members of banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and were recruiting young boys from Ranchi and other places by showing them jihadi videos.
