Moscow : Eastern Ukraine’s self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic’s prime minister Alexander Zakharchenko Monday said that he and his people are ready to offer support to international teams investigating the crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17.
MH17, enroute to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam, was shot down near eastern Ukraine July 17 killing all 298 passengers and crew on-board.
“We have been inviting Ukrainian and international investigators, we are ready to offer any assistance; I am surprised the investigation does not continue, nobody is collecting the parts or other proofs,” Zakharchenko said.
The authorities will offer security if a group of experts arrives to investigate the crash site.
Kiev and the West have held pro-Russian rebels from eastern Ukraine responsible for shooting down the plane with Soviet era missiles.
