Adbi Kunj literary meet held

Jammu/Talib: In keeping with its continuing weekly multilingual creative literary activities over the last 40 years, the multilingual literary organization ‘Adbi Kunj’J&K (Jammu) held a special literary meet on the ‘Creative Art of Poem Writing’ at its literary centre here.

The meet was presided over by a well known Hindi and Urdu poet and writer Dr. S.M.Tiayab Bharti. Mr. Sham Talib, president, Smt. Santosh Shah Nadan, Vice President and Aarash Om Dalmotra, Chairman of the organization were also present while literary Secretary Mr. Ashok Kumar Muntiq conducted the proceeding, a release said.


Adbi Kunj literary meet held

In his inaugural address Mr. Sham Talib said that Adbi Kunj used to organize various creative literary meets on the different values of creative art of the writing and this one was on the similar lines. The opening session saw various participants throw light on the different aspects of creative writing of poem. They also expressed their views with their own poems in different languages.

Some of the poems narrated and critically evaluated include: Khote Sikke (Hindi) by Sham Talib; Musafar (Urdu) by Ashok Kumar Muntiq; Muqadar-Ka-Ghaira (Urdu) by Bishan Dass; Ghussa (Urdu) by Aarsh Om Dalmotral; Routi (Hindi) by Taiyab Bharti; Ganga Maili (Hindi) by Santosh Nadan and Dil Diyan Gallan (Punjabi) by Ved Uppal.

A prose session too was also wherein four prose collections were presented and critically evaluated. These were “Gaiyasan” (Dogri Kahani) by K.L. Dewana; Laghuta-Main-Parakhuta (Hindi Kahani) by Taiyab Bharti; Sailab (Kashmiri Kahani) by K.L.Dewana and Deewar (an Urdu kahani) by Sham Talib.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Ved Uppal, organisor of the Adbi Kunj J&K, Jammu. He also informed that Indian Cultural Forum will organize a special musical night under the supervision of famous singer and music composer Sham Sajan on the different Urdu Ghazals of Mr. Sham Talib, Adbi Kunj president on 15th October at Jammu.
