Lucknow : BJP national president Amit Shah will Thursday arrive in Uttar Pradesh on a two-day visit to attend a RSS conclave, party officials said.
Shah will arrive here to participate in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) conclave being held from Friday at Saraswati Kunj in Niralanagar.
“The visit is largely for the RSS conclave and the party president will devote most of the time there (conclave),” a party leader told IANS.
After a brief meeting with party leaders in Lucknow, Shah will drive to the Saraswati Kunj to take part in the conclave being held to finalise a draft, sources said.
He is also scheduled to meet office bearers and leaders of the RSS, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and Vidya Bharti – all affiliates of the RSS.
