Patna: Peace Foundation, a non-profit and non-government voluntary organisation from Patna, has announced Merit-cum-Means Scholarship as an interest-free-loan to the needy minority students who are aspirants of Staff Selection Commissions/ Railway Recruitment Boards and other competition examinations.
Thousands of vacancies are filled up every year for different Group B and Group C jobs through competitive examinations conducted by various government agencies and public sector units. These can be cleared with a little preparation provided a proper mentoring is done on the aspirants.
The loan amount is to be refunded in easy installments after the candidate’s attainment of employment, which will be used for the future needy students of the society, a statement by Peace Foundation cleared.
The selection of candidates will be done through basic screening test and interview. The selected candidates will be admitted to the best coaching centre/s in Patna. They will also be provided free study materials and guidance. Orientation program for the candidates will also be conducted to implant social values and responsibilities so that they become good citizens of the country.
The guidelines and application form can be obtained by e-mail, by post or by hand from the Foundation’s office. The last date for submission of form is 31st October, 2014.
