Jakarta : Newly-elected Indonesian President Joko Widodo Monday swore in 34 cabinet ministers at the State Palace.

His decision to appoint business persons who have been successful in the building sector as they are precisely aware of the obstacles and potential in it, is also expected to make some improvement.

Among them are Rahmad Gobel, an entrepreneur, who was appointed trade minister, and Susi Pudjiastuti, a business woman, maritime and fishery minister.

Jokowi aims to increase Indonesia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to seven percent within three years.
