Aligarh: The BBC World Service is organizing its special programme called “BBC Campus Hangout” on September 3, 2014 at the Aligarh Muslim University. This programme is one of the flagship programme of the BBC Hindi Service.
The programme is aimed at getting the pulse of Indian youth about the present political environment of the country. This campus hangout would seek to know how AMU student community analyses the performance of the new government in centre on various parameters.
The programme would be held at the Department of Education on September 3, 2014 around 1 pm. It can be seen live all over the world through the website of BBC, www.bbchindi.com or Youtube.
An advance team of BBC led by Mr. Iqbal Ahmad , Producer of the programme, and alumnus of AMU, has already arrived in the campus. The team visited the venue and Mr. Iqbal personally supervised all technicalities.
AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah was kind enough to be present during the team’s visit to the venue.
