New Delhi : Children living in the streets of the national capital Sunday sought an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Members of Badhte Kadam today (Sunday) wrote a letter to our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking time from him so that they can also share their side of the story,” said a statement.
Badhte Kadam is a non-governmental organisation.
“Through this letter, the street and working children seek Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi’s time so that he meets us and talks to us about our issues,” said Badhte Kadam president Chandni.
“We want our prime minister’s attention to the fact that there are still many children in our country who do not have access to education,” she added.
