AMU to send relief team to J&K

Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University has decided to send a relief team comprising five doctors and paramedical staff along with sizable quantity of medicine to mitigate the suffering of the people of Jammu and Kashmir caused by the devastating flood.

The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah has urged all teaching and non-teaching staff of the University to donate at least one day salary for the victims of flood in Jammu & Kashmir.

The Officiating Vice Chancellor, Brigadier S. Ahmad Ali has requested all to contribute generously for this cause. Interested staff members may send a note of consent to the Finance Officer for deduction of one day salary.
