“Jaitley-ji is improving and he will be better soon,” the health minister said.
“He just needs rest, there is nothing wrong” he added.
Jaitley was Sunday shifted to the AIIMS from from the Max Super Specialty Hospital in South Delhi, and was advised a few days’ rest to completely recover.
“Jaitley’s condition is improving. He will most likely be discharged by Wednesday,” a senior doctor from AIIMS told IANS.
He said that Jaitley has been kept in isolation at the Cardiothoracic and Neurosciences Centre of AIIMS.
Jaitley, who is also the defence minister, underwent laparoscopic procedure for diabetes management at the Max Super Specialty Hospital in the beginning of September. He was admitted to Max hospital last Sunday.
