New Delhi: India and Iran on Friday reviewed an agreement inked between both the nations to develop two terminals of Iran’s Chabahar port, the shipping ministry announced here.
India and Iran signed a pact in May 2015 for the development and operation of Chabahar Port, it said in a statement.
The discussions were held between India’s Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari and Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif.
Both the ministers also emphasised on the early conclusion of India-Iran-Afghanistan Transit agreement for realising the full potential of the port, it said.
