Hudkeshwar police station of the city booked PSI Vinod Madhre of Kamptee police station for allegedly raping a 23 years old Dalit woman on the promise of marriage.

The accused SI was transferred to Kamptee police station after he got promotion and allegedly married a fellow SI.

He was later recruited in the police department as a constable and subsequently selected as an officer through state commission examination.

However, he ditched her suddenly after nine years. He got selected for officers training and fell in love with a woman PSI and married her, the complaint says.
