Hyderabad: The Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) celebrated the 66th Republic Day with enthusiasm and national fervor.
Professor Mohammad Miyan, vice chancellor hoisted the tri-colour and delivered the Republic Day message.
“We shall strive to maintain our unity and shun the path, which leads to divisiveness,” he said and threw light on the new initiatives taken by the University to fulfill its mandate, a release said.
Teachers have to re-appraise themselves with the changing demands of the market to ensure the employability of their pupil, he added.
Students presented patriotic songs on the occasion. Students, teachers, officials and other staff attended the function held in front of the portico at the administrative building, the release added.
