Chennai : AIADMK general secretary and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa on Tuesday urged her party leaders and cadres to explain to people her government’s achievements during the past four years.
In a statement issued here Jayalaltihaa also asked her partymen to celebrate AIADMK’s victory in the by-election for the Radhakrishnan Nagar constituency.
Jayalalithaa was re-elected to the state assembly from the Radhakrishnan Nagar constituency for which by-election was held on June 27.
Jayalalithaa asked partymen to hold public meetings across the state from July 10 to 12 to explain to the people the achievements of the AIADMK government.
She listed out several welfare measures like the free mixer griders/kettle/fans for the poor women, free laptops for students, opening of subsidised canteen, launch of Amma Cement, Amma Mineral Water, Metro rail and other schemes.
The AIADMK government completed four years on May 16.
