Srinagar: Separatist guerrillas on Thursday shot at a policeman in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, critically injuring him, police said.
“Militants shot at constable Muhammad Ashraf Akhoon near the district court complex in Shopian town,” a police officer here told IANS.
The constable was hit in the abdomen. A manhunt has been launched to trace the assailants.
