Ghazal festival to be live-streamed online

Mumbai : The annual ‘Khazana – A Festival of Ghazals’ concert, which will bring together renowned ghazal artists like Pankaj Udhas and Rekha Bhardwaj, will be live-streamed across digital platforms of Hungama.

The festival is scheduled to take place on July 24 and 25 here. Audiences can view the concert on the HungamaMusic app, in the ghazal section and Hungama.com. Active Music subscribers on TATA Sky can also enjoy the live-stream of the concert. Music lovers can check Hungama’s official YouTube Channel, Daily Motion India or even Pankaj Udhas’s official Facebook Page for the same.

Now in its 14th year, ‘Khazana – A Festival of Ghazals’ was initiated to support the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) and the Parents Association Thalassemic Unit Trust (PATUT).

This year, the concert will witness singers like Anup Jalota, Ajay Pohankar and Abhijit Pohankar, Rekha Bhardwaj, Sandeep Batraa and special child artists – Aishani Banerjee, Rashi Harmalkar and Varenyam Pandya coming forward to support the noble cause, on the first day of the festival.

Singers such as Pankaj Udhas, Talat Aziz, Javed Ali, Shivani Vaswani and a special children’s act put up by Banerjee, Harmalkar and Pandya will grace the stage on the second day of the festival. Sudeep Banerjee will also be launching his new album “Dhadkan Dhadkan” at the event.

“From legends to gen next, it is our humble effort to take Khazana to the next level and we seek Hungama’s support in this endeavour. Long live ghazals,” Pankaj Udhas said in a statement.
