Kannur: Kannur district committee of Kuwait Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre distributes pension relief fund to 22 Kannur-based people who are very poor and under privileged.
This is the 6th year Kannur-Kuwait KMCC is distributing such relief fund. “V C Bamban, treasurer of Indian Union Muslim League, Kannur committee and state member of IUML said in his inaugural speech that Kannur KKMCC is doing a wonderful humanitarian job. The expatriate community in general are very generous to help the people of their homeland,” a release from Kannur KKMCC said here.

Dr Sayyid Ghalib Al-Mashoor Thangal presided over the event and delivered Islamic scholarly speech related to the charity work and humanitarian services in Islam and the value of Holy Ramadan in Muslims life.
T A Thangal, vice president, Kannur chapter of IUML, N Mohammed delivered complimentary speeches. Advocate Sayid Mohamed Nizar, Legal Advisor of Kannur KKMCC inaugurated the Relief fund distribution.

In his complimentary speech, he thanked Kannur KKMCC committee for initiating such a noble venture and remembering their brethren in India and Kerala in general.
Naser Taliparamba, secretary welcomed the distinguished guests and audience. Hamza Abu Shabeel expressed vote of thanks. A generous group Iftaar was also held during the event, the release added.
