Kishan Ganj: Despite heavy rains, about 400 candidates turned up for the Super 30 examination for IIT coaching conducted by the noted socio-educational organisation Human Chain.
The examination was conducted on June 14.
The Super 30 is an ambitious educational programme started by Anand Kumar, to handpick 30 meritorious talents from economically backward sections of the society. The students are coached and shaped for India’s most prestigious institution of technical education — the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Over the years, hundreds of students with extremely poor background have been benefited from the programme and got admission to IITs. At Super 30, they are imparted coaching as well as provided food and lodging at no cost.
The founder-director of Super 30, Anand Kumar has promised attractive prizes for those who pass the Kishan Ganj examination with flying colours. Three candidates securing first position will win an international educational tour. Five candidates with second position will get an all-India educational tour, while those five students who get the third position will be lucky enough to secure free admission in B Tech, sponsored by United Groups of Institutes.
Besides, a few of the successful candidates will also be offered an envied seat with Super 30.
This successful conduct of exam is the result of efforts of Human Chain’s president Tariq Sufyan, secretary Salman Akhtar, organising secretary Abraruz Zaman, cashier Shah Feroz and other members including Ghulam Mustafa, Obaid Alalm, Qamruz Zaman, Shams Dansih, and Abu Talha.
Commending the Kishan Ganj team for the successful conduct of the examination, the Central team of Human Chain congratulated it and also thanked Super 30’s founder-director Anand Kumar, Pranab Kumar and Sanjay Singh.
