The spiritual guru said though he resides in China, his soul was in India.

A group of Chinese Buddhist Mandala painters led by Vajra Master is here under a Chinese government initiative to commemorate the 65th year of diplomatic relations between India and China.

Their artworks are on display at India Habitat Centre’s art gallery here.

Vijay said: “Their works on Ganesha, Buddha, (Mahatma) Gandhi and Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi show a deep sense of understanding of the Indian psyche which is a result of age-old interaction nurtured by Buddhist scholars and travellers.”
