Lucknow: Thousands attended a conference organized by Jamaat-e-Ulema-e-Hind faction led by Maulana Arshad Madani. The public meeting or Ijlas-e-Aam at Rifah-e-Aam Club grounds was held in Lucknow on Saturday, March 28.
Maulana Arshad Madani attacked the RSS and BJP in his speech. Madani blamed the RSS for disturbing communal peace in the country. He also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for remaining quiet on RSS activities.
Maulana Madani urged Muslim to develop peaceful relations and unity among the community.
Programmes like Ghar Wapasi and Love Jihad by RSS outfits also figured during the meeting with Jamaat demanding action against them.
Samajwadi Party’s national general secretary Arshad Khan was also present on the stage. However that didn’t prevent Maulana Madani to remind the SP-ruled UP government that it should not forget its poll promises. He reminded the SP government about reservation for Muslims.
